Kentfield is a small unincorporated area of less than three square miles nestled into the Eastern slope of Mount Tamalpais. With less than seven thousand residents it includes prestigious neighborhoods like Kent Woodlands and Murray Park as well as the main campus of Marin Community College and the Baltimore Canyon Open Space Preserve. Homes in Kentfield generally sit on larger lots and blend into the trees, offering privacy and a very secluded feeling even while located central to everything.
Greenbrae is an even smaller town at the entrance to Ross Valley that offers a bit of a commerce hub in the Bon Air Shopping Center and is home to Marin General Hospital and the popular Hal Brown Park which sits along part of the Corte Madera Creek as it runs along the town's border. It's an excellent location for view homes as many neighborhoods line the low hills that look out to San Fransisco or San Pablo Bay, Mount Tamalpais and/or the Corte Madera Creek.
